It’s Money Mondays here at CLG & Associates and what better way to kick it off than to give

future entrepreneurs some business ideas for 2017!
Now maybe you’ve been thinking about going into business for yourself but you’re not quite sure what or where to start. Here are five ideas that are sure to put some money in your pockets!
1. Event Planning: There’s always something going on, whether that’s a birthday party, wedding, or bridal, no one wants to plan an event alone. Being an event planner is a perfect way to rake in some business for let’s say a working mom who doesn’t have the time. You can even get creative an only plan for specific services like weddings, or birthday parties. So if you know you’re great at planning and have a love of helping others this may be the business for you.
2. Start a Bar/Brewery: Who’s doesn’t love drinking! A bar or brewery is a great business idea, and in Michigan it seems like those are popping up more and more. There are lots of rental properties around Detroit and surrounding cities. As long as you’re willing to put in the work for a liquor license you should have a running business in no time.
3. Doggy day care: Okay you can get creative with this idea whether that be a daycare, boarding for animals, or grooming service. We love our pets like family and when it’s time to take a vacation, or we need a good wash and trim for our animal, services can get expensive. One of the businesses above could be your ticket to financial independence. Warning must have a strong love for animals and no allergies.
4. Boutique: I wasn’t going to be cliché and suggest this, however we love our clothing. Starting a boutique isn’t hard to do but keeping and maintaining you’re boutique is the challenge. I would suggest stepping outside your comfort zone and finding a niche market of clothing. For example, maybe you want to only cater to plus size women/men, or maybe you only want to sell vintage clothing. That’s a way to separate yourself from the rest of the boutiques in the area and make a profit.
5. Personal Assistant business: Out of all the business’s named and the many other business’s that others have started, owners may need a personal assistant. What if your business was to provide that assistance! It’s brilliant, you could even hire others and send them out to assist various business owners.
Here at CLG and Associates, we want our client’s and future clients to feel confident in themselves if entrepreneurship is where they are headed. Hopefully this top five list has your juices flowing to get out in the world and turn a profit.
